Powering Southeast Asia’s AI Future: Robust HPC, SB Telecom Singapore and SC ZEUS Join Forces to Advance AI Data Centres
As AI adoption continues to accelerate, the demand for scalable, high-performance and AI-ready infrastructure is growing rapidly across Southeast Asia. Supporting this growth requires more than powerful GPUs — it requires purpose-built data centres, reliable connectivity and an ecosystem designed for high-performance AI workloads.
To support this transformation, Robust HPC Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SB Telecom Singapore Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp., and SC ZEUS Data Centers Pte Ltd to collaborate on AI Data Center (AIDC) deployment initiatives across Southeast Asia.
Building an End-to-End AI Infrastructure Ecosystem
The collaboration brings together the complementary expertise of all three organisations, covering GPU infrastructure, AI-ready data centre development and advanced ICT connectivity.
Under the collaboration, Robust HPC Group will focus on the procurement, deployment and management of high-performance GPU clusters. SC ZEUS Data Centers will support land sourcing, data centre design, construction and operations, while SB Telecom Singapore will contribute its expertise in data hall fit-out, ICT infrastructure integration, localised deployment and connectivity solutions.
By combining these capabilities, the partners aim to build the foundation for next-generation AI Factory solutions, enabling enterprises to deploy and scale increasingly demanding AI workloads.
Supporting New AI Infrastructure Models
Beyond infrastructure development, the collaboration will also explore flexible AI computing models, including GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) platforms and the AI Token Factory concept.
These initiatives aim to provide organisations with more flexible access to high-performance AI computing resources while supporting the growing demand for AI training, inference and other compute-intensive applications.
Expanding AI Infrastructure Across Southeast Asia
The collaboration will initially focus on Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam, with plans to expand into other Southeast Asian and neighbouring markets.
By bringing together advanced GPU infrastructure, AI-ready data centres and reliable connectivity, Robust HPC Group, SB Telecom Singapore and SC ZEUS Data Centers are working towards a shared vision of strengthening Southeast Asia’s AI ecosystem and building the infrastructure foundation for the region’s next wave of AI innovation.
